Parco,
Pakistan biggest oil refinery facility near Muzaffergarh
(Punjab) felt the need of having an automated system to
have on line work flow and information management. The current
system of manual data entry of copying worksheets from templates
on every day basis has created humongous data on excel sheets.
Parco wanted this system to be replaced by a system which
can given them on line access to Analysis data and a connectivity
to load selected parameters to Honeywell PHD for process
monitoring.
Trees LISMan
based on Java, Tomcat, and Oracle is now providing the backbone
to laboratory management solution and connecting the overall
tiers. The interface of PHD is being built to be available
to Parco in later part of 2004.
Solution Details: LISMan
is a commercial software developed by Trees Software and
marketed by its subsidiary Trees Technologies allows Parco
to have access to plant’s data. All the analysis on
a plant are programmed in flexible frequencies as per their
desired schedules. The analyses are performed and the results
are processed for multi level validation and final release.
The system controls the entire work of sample points scheduling,
sample receipts, results processing, validations, monitors
delays and pending analysis including NON routine analysis
and their current progress. The system also provides Parco
the ability to print and archive product analysis and reports
is a legally specified formats.
The system is coupled with add on components to provide
state of art trending software ( LISTrend), Inventory Software
(LISInven), Analyzer Connectivity LISConnect, Remote access
to plant data (LISEchelon) and maintaining/tracking laboratory
equipment for planned maintenance and calibrations (LISMaint).
